Volunteers are the backbone of our organization. With your help, we can accomplish anything!

Who: Anyone! Albacore Park welcomes volunteers of all ages, including kids, teens, and adults. Our volunteers can be teachers, students, professionals, retirees, artists, and YOU!

What: The possibilities are endless for our volunteers! We are always looking for help in the following areas: gardening/landscaping, special event assistance, organizing activities for special events, gallery guides, collections and preservation, as well as office work, education outreach, and more. We are always eager to hear new ideas anyone may have for a volunteer project too! If you have a unique or special skill you think might be put to good use at the museum, we’re eager to hear about it!

When: Volunteers are welcomed year-round at the museum.

Why: Albacore Park thrives on community involvement and public stewardship. Our volunteers are among our most important assets, equal to our collection! We have an amazing staff at the Albacore, but the truth is most of what happens at Albacore Park simply wouldn’t be possible without the help of our volunteers.
